New Ventures

DBG provides a business model for entrepreneurs, investors, and venture capital firms to engage DBG in the areas of product management, technology architecture, visual design, software engineering, and network / IT support, with the following goals:

  • Accelerate The Formation & Launch of New Ventures
  • Acquire, Manage, & Scale Onshore / Offshore Resources
  • Establish a Long-term Plan for Continued Innovation

General Terms DBG reserves the right to accept or reject any new business opportunities. If an acceptable opportunity is pursued, DBG will propose an engagement model to satisfy the opportunity needs and goals. In most cases, DBG provides technology consulting, creative, and engineering services in exchange for ownership in the venture.

Acceptance Criteria DBG collaborates with market leaders and visionaries to identify opportunities where technology has the potential to disrupt an industry. Such opportunities typically involve:

  • An ongoing need for scalable engineering resources
  • Platforms that leverage big data to create value
  • Long-term strategy that embraces mobile solutions

DBG welcomes all requests and will review each opportunity. However, in most cases we seriously consider opportunities where the founding team consists of members that can demonstrate a proven and significant expertise in the industry, market segment, and product area the business seeks to disrupt.

Our initial process involves a discovery phase to assess your company’s current stage of growth in the Digital Business Lifecycle (DBLC). Most new ventures engage DBG with a basic understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a digital business platform. We call this basic level of understanding “Competency” where the DBLC is short-lived and has yet to be realized through digital strategy and deployment.

  1. 1
Decide. If you have an opportunity and team that is in alignment with our basic acceptance criteria, Contact DBG Today and let’s schedule our first meeting!
  2. 2
Discover. New Venture product development initiatives will require defined strategy and requirements specifications to include the planning of system functionality, technology, and user experience requirements backed by wireframes and prototypes.
  3. 3
Design. Once application wireframes are finalized, the visual design can be created. This step involves rendering the application look and feel – the visual aspect of the application that a consumer will experience.
  4. 4
Develop. Whether the goal is to develop a Web portal, mobile application, or mixture of both, DBG will assemble the best and brightest resources to bring about the rapid and successful delivery of the solution.
  5. 5
Deploy. Deployment usually means completion and launch of a specific set of deliverables. However, new ventures are constantly deploying and evolving new ideas. Once an organization has achieved advanced stages of growth, DBG will provide services to maintain, control, and improve upon digital assets.
